Halloween and Samhain: witching hour in the Comox Valley

It is Halloween in the Comox Valley, but there is a deeper spiritual, and even religious story to be told behind the origins of this festive day; one that is still honoured by witches today.

Kluane Atwater is a witch and ritualist, someone who practices magic in her daily life. She joined CHLY and DIG FM to talk about Samhain, the Pagan sabbat that may have inspired Halloween, and how it is celebrated by Pagans here in the Comox Valley, on the traditional territory of the K’ómoks First Nation.
